Hyperlocal Radar from Weatherstem represents a major breakthrough in precipitation detection and measurement. It uses a miniature Doppler Radar to detect precipitation particles within close range of the instrument offering an extraordinarily precise and sensitive detection and measurement capability. The sensor can detect precipitation rates as slight as one ten-thousandth of a millimeter per hour. It can detect and differentiate between ALL forms of frozen and liquid precipitation.

Hyperlocal Radar can optionally be solar-powered and cellular, so it won't stop working just because the power and/or Internet is down. It can also be fortified to withstand Category 5 Hurricane Force winds when installed by our team of installation technicians.
